Aerobics
The Senior Center offers Step Aerobics and Stretching on Tuesdays & Thursdays at the center at 8:30 am. A contribution of $1 is requested for the one-hour program. Class is instructed by Barbara Van Essendelft.
Yoga
Yoga Classes are held at the Grace Martin Harwell Senior Center on Mondays and Fridays at 8:30 am. There is no charge but contributions are appreciated. Class is instructed by Bob Hudson.
Tai Chi
Is a gentle, relaxing exercise program that incorporates both body and mind. This is a great program for people with arthritis. Studies have shown that practicing tai chi helps to aleviate arthritis pain. Class is offered every Monday and Friday at 9:45 am. There is no charge but contributions are appreciated. Instructors are Bob Hudson and Beth Harrell.
