Picture 1 shows the improper placement of yard waste.  When yard waste is placed in the streets or gutters the following can happen:

1. Hinder traffic.
2. Cause driving lanes to become not passable.
3. Block Storm Drains.
4. Prevent proper drainage of roads, causing flooding.

Picture 2:  Correct Placement of Yard Waste:
Picture 2 shows the correct placement of yard waste.  The yard waste in Picture 2 is located behind the curb line and out of the street and gutter.  This allows the streets to remain clear especially during a storm and will keep water flowing into the storm drains.
