Raleigh is 1 hour and 45 minutes (depending on traffic) west of Washington via US 64 and 264. Norfolk is 2 hours or more (again, depending on traffic) north of Washington (routes vary). Commuter flights may be available from these airports to Pitt-Greenville Airport, 25 miles west of Washington. Washington also has a small airport, Warren Field, for private aviation services.
