Open Enrollment for Health Benefits and Flexible Spending Accounts

During Open Enrollment each year, you ay make health plan changes or enroll in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) .  Complete an enrollment form and submit to Human Resources.  No other action is required if you have no helath plan-related changes, are not enrolling in an FSA.

All of the benefits available to you reflect City of Washington's commitment to provide high-quality, affordable options and represent a significant component of your total rewards.

Open Enrollment is the annual opportunity for you to evaluate your benefit options and make your elections. Reviewing your benefits allows you to ensure they will continue to meet your needs for the upcoming year. You are encouraged to review this information to learn about all benefits offerings and make an informed decision in order to select the benefits that best fit your needs.

Open Enrollment will be in May 2024.   All elections made during Open Enrollment are effective July 1.

In early May, an open enrollment packet that contains your current elections will be given to employees.  The statement and the online tool are made available to help you make informed decisions about your health coverage needs for next year.
